Hybrid Options
The hybrid engine that the 2020 Ford Escape offers is a 2.5L Atkinson cycle with an electronic continuously variable transmission. Producing 198 HP and up to 85 mph in electric-only mode, this engine can capably handle drives both long and short. The 2020 Ford Escape also offers a plug-in hybrid engine, including a Level 1/Level 2 AC charging port. With a Level 1 charge, it takes about 10 to 11 hours to fully charge.
